Acento Mezcal

Acento is a handcrafted artisanal mezcal made from 100% agave, cultivated in the sun-drenched Valles Centrales of Oaxaca, Mexico. The brand pays homage to the land, the sacred agave plant, and the cultural richness of the region.

The visual identity draws from the sharp geometry of agave leaves, the symmetry of cultivated fields, Oaxacan textile patterns, and the texture of adobe brick. I translated these influences into a modern, elegant system—anchored by a distinct icon that features a contrasting accent (“acento”) within its pattern, giving it a strong regional character and visual focus.
